Joining the Preble Futures Middle School Golf program will provide golf instruction for any student in 6th​ – 8th​ grades. This will be a 5 week class and all skill levels are encouraged to play. Emphasis is on golf etiquette, skill development, and having fun. This is a great opportunity for players looking to play high school golf in the future.

Season

The season will start on Monday, April 28 and end on Friday, May 30.

Practices

Practice will be one day a week. Players can choose either Mondays or Wednesdays from 5:00-6:15 pm at Royal Scot starting April 28. All participants should wear weather-appropriate clothing. Players should bring a water bottle and golf clubs. Please let us know if you do not have golf clubs.

Cost

$60 for the practice season. This covers the cost of practices, range balls, and a team shirt. You can pay at the informational meeting on April 1, or you can send a check payable to Preble Golf to

Tournament Schedule

There are optional tournaments on Friday, May 9, 16, 23, and 30 if players are interested in competitions. There will be up to three different teams: Team A, B and C based on players’ golf skill. Registration and tournament fees will be done completely online. The cost is $30 per tournament. Tournaments will start after school around 3:30 and the player’s round should be about 2.5 hours.
